Made up of a combination of standard definition DV and 720p Pro Res files, the clips range from very short 2 second flashes and light bleed, to longer and loopable grainy textures.

This demo is just an example of how these clips can be used on digital footage, as a basis for creating a lo fi look. For a tutorial on how to achieve the flash frame effects, please check out my tutorial here on Exposureroom

Shot using the 2 x digital zoom for all the close up bug shots, with the kit lens. I think this camera could become really popular with nature shooters, with the ability to extend the zoom combined with the 4/3 FOV.<br />Having a few problems with mosaic patterns on medium dark solid backgrounds, as can be seen on a couple of shots. Mostly bought out when encoding to h.264, but it is still noticeable in the source footage. This is a pretty basic edit, just cuts, dissolves and fades. I'd previously only used the video editor in Blender for rendering out short image sequences, but it is capable of a lot more. The slow motion shots were made with JES deinterlacer, but could have been made in Blender, so all the tools used ( except for audio ) are open source/freeware.
