Over the years Paul has seen me cook a turkey with a blow torch, because the charcoal went out. One year we deep fried the bird and nearly caught the yard on fire! Now we use the Big Green Egg and the bird always comes out to perfection. This year was no different. I cook and Paul carves. I think this video was one of my best yet since getting the Letus Ultimate 35-mm adapter. The shots are neat because of the shallow depth of field. Everything was filmed with a Sony EX-1 in all natural light. This year had special meaning as it is the first Thanksgiving without my mother who passed away on October 20th. This modular construction may very-well be the wave of the future. Once the home was delivered to the site, it was fully constructed in just about eight-hours! Certainly, there are a few things left to be completed, but the home owner will be in his new digs in about a fourth of the time of a site built home. The construction meets or exceeds all building and hurricane standards and local building codes. All shot with Sony EX-1 HD camera. Edited in Final Cut Pro.
