I got two that were ready to go (They turn black just before hatching- Thanks to my Mother for collecting them in her yard). . . Then I set up the EX1 on interval recording- one frame every twenty seconds.  Turns out Crysalis's hatch really fast! The close up of the timelapse Crysalis hatching in the video had to be slowed way down.  The next day while I was filming a  "three-shot" of a catapillar, the second un-hatched Crysalis and the newly hatched butterfly -  the second Crysalis suddenly hatched before my eyes! This is my first short shot with the Sony EX1 camera.  I used all stock settings and shot it hand-held.  I filmed this in 1080P 30 VBR mode.  The stock battery ran out before I had a chance to get more shots. . .I knew this party would be a "Target Rich" environment with beautiful natural light. It happened right during the "Magic Hour" as the sun was setting.  The music was provided by the band "Three men in hats" I believe.
