Six months later it was 'discovered' by the executive director of Amnesty International's Irish Section. Shortly thereafter I traveled with cameraman Richard Gillespie to Dublin and the surrounding area and shot 28 volunteers signing their names in the air. This is the finished product, which was first shown at the world premiere of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and will soon be seen on Irish TV. The music is a track called "Don't Go Down to Sorrow" by the band 65 Days of Static. The software involved is Final Cut Pro, Pixel Farm Track, Cinema 4D and Shake. I took it along with a Canon FD 20mm F2.8 and 50mm F1.4 lens to Park Guell here in Barcelona not far from where I live. I started filming about 4pm. It had been a very overcast day but it turned out to be one of the clearest days I have known here. I shot for about 3 hours and that included a break for a beer! Edited in FCP and it's pretty much as it came from the camera I have only adjusted the gama on some of the shots.
