This film is a reference to Magnolia. It is not a parody. The premise is taken from the scene where Tom Cruise's visits his dying father, and wrestles with forgiveness.

Synopsis:
A long lost son (Vince Reign) returns to the home of his dying father (Steve Briscoe) to make amends to a strained relationship. With his life finally in order he laments all his sorrows and regrets, and begs the forgiveness of his father. With the aide of the Hospice Nurse (Sheila Boren) he receives the grace and closure he's been longing for.

I remember this scene in the original film, you chose one of the most difficult to be inspired by. I like that you shot this handheld gives it an edge. It was at times well acted, the colour grading was bad for me but then it may be the equipment your using. On some shots I would give the actors a little more headroom. A good effort well done

Good story and quite well handle in its delivery, especially considering the short time limit. Just the last part where she calls out to him seemed unnecessary.

It’s a touching story (and the film pays homage to one of my favourite movies). Overall, there’s a break of the 180° rule that makes it hard to understand the scene. The light is a bit too flat and the mix is too low.

Good acting. It's hard to pull off this type of dramatic short. I thought you guys did it pretty well! Good homage to Magnolia.

Courageous story to tell in 3 mins, but I think you pull it off. Congratulations!
