Before Uploading your Video, make sure to do the following:
  1. Play the video on your machine before uploading the video to ExposureRoom, and watch for these problems:
    • Audio is out of Sync
    • Video is Squished (objects appear elongated). Please refer to this article:
Getting Your HD Videos to show in the Correct Aspect
    • It stops playing partway through
    • Picture disappears partway through
    • There is sound but no video
    • There is video but no sound

ExposureRoom cannot fix problems in your video.  It simply transcodes what is already there.  In other words, garbage in, garbage out!

  2. Encode!  Do not upload the raw video.  It must be encoded/compressed.  For help in encoding your video, see these blogs and articles:

What is the file size limitations? How many gigabits per video is allowed? I have a 37 minute HD movie I would like to post. Thanks Kent

Kent, A 37 minute video should be: 37x60x3500 = 7770000 kb = 971250KB = 950MB It's not so much the file size but rater the correct encoding to get the expected file size. If the file size is too much larger than the expected file size it will be rejected on our end (after you've successfully uploaded). If the file size is larger than 2GB the browser will silently reject it and the file will never reach us and you won't see any progress indication.
