A video with music I started earlier this year but just completed. The footage is from Dobroyd Point in Sydney overlooking the entrance to Sydney Harbour. This was shot whilst shooting footage for my wife Lydia's 'Shimmers' video from a bit over a year ago. So it's taken me that long to get this video done!

The music and video were all done in Vegas 9. Coloured using the the New Blue FX film look plugin. Enjoy!

Glenn, interesting. Love the music but thought I'd see more than the mag pipes (what was I thinking!).

Carlos, I kind of wrote the music, but didn't actually play the parts. The music was done in Vegas using a few drum samples and Acid loops which were chopped around. I set the grid to beats and measures, then drag all the sounds onto the timeline. The bassline and piano I'd sliced into smaller pieces and rearranged them to something more original than the loop. It's great being able to edit both the music and video in program, something you can't do with any other big name video editing programs.

Shiv, this was all left over footage from parts I'd shot for Lydia's 'Shimmers' video. The magpies appearing like that were unexpected, so I decided back then I'd eventually use that footage and give them their own video.
