"Whitewood" Outlaws-Green Grass and High Tides at Bridgewater Fair 8-16-08
The Whitewood band, at the Bridgewater Fair, performing an Outlaws song, "Green Grass and High Tides". Phil McArdle manages to get in his morning jog while playing keys on this number. Lots of energy from all the band members on this song.
As I listened to this recording, I realized it's very apparent when someone walks in the space in front of the drummer, as the cymbal crashes change in timbre and frequency spectrum. So if anyone notices a phasey sound effect on cymbals, that's "body interference."
The Bridgewater Fair organization provided a proper band stand and sound system, and they did it right. I was frankly surprised to find that much technical competence in this small country town. Looks like they had some Lab horns for the bass, EAW speakers for the mains.. pretty good stuff.
Bridgewater Fair, August 16th.
