I truly believe there is no greater reward then when a dream you have entertained for most of your life begins to become your reality. A true blessing is to walk in the Gift that you were born with and live a life that remains true to that gift inside. Today I saw a mighty film scene come through a city that most have cursed or claimed would never rise again. Detroit is coming back, there is a mass of artists that are fed up with our current art crisis, the inventors and innovators those willing to face the impossible are reawakening once again. The scene that is being cultivated is rooted in humility,passion, integrity and community. It is not about what I or You can get out of it, it is about what You or I can bring to it...

Today I saw my Dream become reality, and it was today I took a leap and entered the 1st Detroit 48 hour film challenge.....

Your post is very inspiring and I can literally feel what you're feeling. Congratulations on taking the leap and entering into your first 48 hour film challenge. I wish you success. You've already won this battle though, so keep that in mind.
