Jay (writer/director, Todd Giglio) and Matt (co-writer/producer, Christopher Springer) are musicians. For 20 years, they have fought a losing battle for success and now, at age 40, are giving it one last shot. As Matt’s middle-age anxiety sets in, Jay too struggles to find a balance between his music and his son Bryan (Brennan Giglio) and wife, Jasmin (Bollywood Hero’s Pooja Kumar) as well as fill the role expected of him by his traditional, Indian in-laws (Kapil Bawa, Susham Bedi and Debargo Sanyal).

'Drawing With Chalk' is an independent film about obligations and dreams and what happens when the two collide. Told with heart, humor, and passion, and featuring a talented, multi-cultural cast, it is a slice of life drama that will captivate and inspire.
