Using an HD camcorder with Linux

This tutorial stream is for people who like to use shell scripts to organize their things. The first tutorial has some helpful tips how to transform AVCHD footage recorded as MPEG transport streams (.MTS or .m2ts) into h264 compressed AVI format with minimized loss in quality.
