Mani Neumann / Ulli Brand / Joschi Kappl The Silver Church Club, Bucharest, Romania 15 September 2009
Die Lerche / Ciocârlia - meaning the skylark is a well-known Romanian folk tune. It was first made popular by the violinist Anghelus Dinicu in the 19th century. In time it's popularity spread beeing played by Grigoras Dinicu (Anghelus's grandson), violinist/composer George Enescu as later to be played by Phoenix, Gheorghe Zamfir and many others.
Mani Neumann plays this wonderfully with Ulli and Joschi.
