SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dennis Cabella, 33 years old. Marcello Ercole, 34 .

They live in Genova (Italy) and since they were young, they've followed their passion for cinema and films, creating stories of various genre.

In 2003, after several years of experience in video-production companies, Dennis Cabella and Marcello Ercole have founded Illusion (www.illusion-group.it), a company that produces tv commercials, documentaries and 2d/3d graphic animation. Soon, Illusion has become one of the main reference points for production and post-production in Italy.

In conjunction with their work, during ten years of collaboration, they've realized several shortfilms and graphic projects that have got important prizes and mentions (Genova Film Festival: Audience award / First Prize Agorà: best tv commercial / Prize Montecelio: best publicity campaign / Arcipelago Internation Film Festival: winner special prize of Jury / Leeds Film Festival: Silver Melies Award / In Genere International Film Festival: Best Direction Award/ Fancine: Best Foreign Shortfilm / Siggraph Asia: official selection / Fantastic Fest Austin Texas: official selection / Sitges International Film Festival: official selection.)

Currently, Pathos is in nomination for the important Golden Melies Prize 2010.
