I was born into quite an unusual circumstance.  I've always known that I am supposed to do something, but rarely do I comprehend what that something is.  As my ages have increased, I've actually grown younger.  

  However, I've taken my "being out of the loop" condition as a blessing and not a curse.  You see, because I struggle with understanding my already driving purpose and all my purpose related interactions, my focus and anxieties aren't about what will become of me but rather how I can make it become me.  I figure that I already am and now I am working backwards to figure out how I can be it and prove it.  That said, I make movies because I feel I have to.  I can't remember not having to, even though when I was older (remember for me old is young so let's say I'm talking age 0-13) I didn't create them.  

  I didn't go to school for film.  I just study lots of movies and moviemakers.  I went to Bard College and got a BA in Painting and Philosophy.  I still paint.  Again, because I have to.  Both mediums are something I try and make sense of after I start doing them.  

   Though I make it sound like it, most of my life isn't so out of the ordinary.  When I am not slaying dragons and training knights of round tables, I am just focused on what most people focus on: What is next. . . .
