I just watched this.
I got this on Netflix two weeks ago and watched it for the first time.

There's a really cool explanation of how they did the original title design. Anyways, nice take on a classic.

yea it's a great movie. Our fanfilm is going to be pretty long, maybe 20 minutes and feature nearly 10 creatures or something there about. It's just taking forever!

the Thing title animation
Oh and about the title, I was going to do it like the real movie with a cutout and burning trash bags but I wanted to try it first in Sony Vegas and was so pleased with the results I just kept it. I got that title in the first try...LOL
