Bio
Hello, my name is Chris Bishop, and I have a passion for
film making and photography.
I also love creating `sound` in the form of effects and
music – in fact many know me for this, and are surprised to discover my passion
for filming, which started at the age of 17 when after many months of saving, I
bought an Agfa 16mm cine camera. The expense of feeding such a camera was
rather extreme in those days, though my interest in filming remained; my
attention turned to photography, and later, sound engineering, both of which I’ve
worked professionally.
My love for filming was fired up once again with the
advent of HD technology, more so when large censor technology became a reality.
I’ve started working in a semi-professional way, but want to get far more serious.
I’ve recently built a visual/audio editing studio as an outbuilding from my
house, containing state-of-the-art equipment (hardware & software) with
high end Mac & custom build computers, now allowing me to focus far more
and to reach higher standards, and to try many new things from spring 2012 and
beyond.
