This is a video I made for my Mentor who recently passed away. He taught me so much over 20 years ago when I started in TV. This is my way of saying goodbye to him.

Thanks William! I'm glad you got that sense from the video. The quality holds up amazingly well on Exposure Room! What a great place!

Wow... One of the best clips I've seen in here. Jack must have been a great videographer for him to be your mentor for you to achieve this kind of work. Nice job. My sympathies for Jack and family.

Scott, Thats some high praise from you! Especially with all the great videos on Exposure Room. I'll post a few more that I have made as well since this seems to be so well received. Jack was indeed a great videographer, I think of his comments and teachings almost daily. He always said "The audience only sees what you show them in that tiny frame, make sure EVERYTHING you shoot shows what they need to know to tell your story. It's easy to get caught up in the moment and not show them the whole environment." Simple idea. But so true! Since you were there shooting, you take for granted that the viewer knows there was a stream nearby or whatever, even though in your video you never showed that! Also being aware of everything in your frame, sometimes it's easy to have power lines showing or a distracting object showing that you are unaware of on location until you get to the edit room.

The pictures look quite much like they have been shot on sony hvr z1 or v1.
But could be canon hv30 as well, but the movements does not like like this.
So wich camera do you actually use? =)

Sorry for not posting that info, I'm new to XR and need to figure out how to do that. I used an EX1 for most of this.Shot at 1080p 30.

Will you reveal how you made those pans if that is what they are called. It is as if you have the camera on a boom/crane. It sure doesn't look like Steadicam!
