I'm continually fascinated by the incredible formations of ice that a winter stream can produce. These intricate patterns change by the hour as water that has been super cooled collides and freezes to anything it touches. The river banks and rocks widen with the ice until it completely engulfs the water underneath.

Paul,
Very nice work. It was very inspiring. Can't wait for it to get cold enough in the N.GA. mountains to video ice.

Thanks Mark. And I can't wait for it to all melt so I can shoot some spring flowers, but that is 4 months away.

Paul, after looking at the video a second time I am trying to figure out how you got the shot going out over the creek at 1:36?

I used my indiSlider! I have a whole video on it at my blog:

Also there is a video called "Grow" that was all done with the indiSlider.
