Bio
As a child Janis Grace Bridges watched roller derby on TV while her grandmother shouted at the referees. With the resurgence of roller derby she was hooked on the first bout she attended, telling herself "this should be on television". When no one did it fast enough to suit her, she determined to do it herself.
She acquired an HD video camera asked permission to video the 2007 National Championship of the Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Association. To her surprise, permission was granted. Janis started by putting bouts on the web. She produced the award winning "Real Deal Roller Derby" program for community television.
Recently Janis retired from the nine to five world of computer software development. She has acquired a video splitter (TriCaster) and other equipment and is seeking opportunities to stream live roller derby bouts on the Internet.
