Walker Industries Expands Compost Facility

Walker Industries of Thorold Ontario opened its new Compost facility. It will divert over 40 000 tonnes of waste from landfill and process the organic waste at an accelerated pace. The 9 million dollar expansion was visited by Ontario Environment Minister John Gerretsen. This is a good day for composting in the province of Ontario. For info on composting go to: www.compost.org
