It’s like going from day to night, off to on, black and white to color – making the switch to 4:2:2 has brought me that much closer to being able to produce images that more closely convey the world as I perceive it. The only thing better would be working in 4:4:4 color space. Which in time with the development of cameras like the Red Camera will make this a reality too. But in the mean time I have really loved the added richness that 4:2:2 has given me.
