Just over a week ago I had the opportunity to use the HVX to film a short. With a deadline for the submission of the short film in just over a week, this short was quickly developed, shot and delivered for the festival. Having gone through that experience, I thought that I would offer my thoughts and incites. This was my first real experience using the HVX for dramatic work. Up to this point I have been using it to short promotional videos, as well as stock footage. And I am happy to report that it held up very well under the rigors of dramatic production. While on set I had use of the Marshal monitor, 2 4GB P2 Cards and 1 8GB P2 card. The use of these accessories was of great help and added to the ease of use of the camera while on set.
