workflow
Many times the term “indi-filmmaking” means “no formal experience or training”. Depending on the producer, and the production team this may or may not be a bad thing. Whether or not the people on an “indi” set have the formal training and experience, many times because of the smaller crew the workflow and on set operations get cut and streamlined. So for those of you who might find it interesting to know what the on set operations / work flow of a feature looks like I thought that I would provide the following list of operations for you. Keep in mind however, that this workflow is not written in stone, and it can vary from set to set, but it is generally how the set of a feature film is run.
