Laval Police find steroids lab in townhouse
On Sept. 8, the Laval Police carried out a search warrant at a residence in Chomedey where they discovered that a laboratory for the manufacture of steroids was secretly operating. The warrant was executed following a late-night call by police patrollers who were responding to a break-in.
On the premises, the police confiscated a large amount of base ingredients used in the fabrication of various steroids and all the equipment necessary for their manufacture. The packaging of the manufactured products made it seem as though they were produced by a professional pharmaceutical firm, which was not at all the case.
According to the police, the manufacture of these products was non-professional and the exact ingredients in the products in question remain unknown. The unsanitary state of the location and of the equipment that was used could also pose a danger to the health of the users of these products. The Laval Police would thus like to alert the population about these products which could be dangerous if consumed.
The police are therefore releasing photos of the labels on the products which were confiscated, in order to warn potential users of these products as soon as possible. If the products were not prescribed by a health professional and purchased in a pharmacy, they should not be consumed. They could cause serious health problems. Any citizen who would like to provide information on the sale of these products or on any other matter of interest to the police may do it confidentially by calling 450-662-INFO (4636).
