Short film/documentary featuring Rodney Douve & Dale Finley, two amateur magicians with a dream of making it big in Vegas. Will this be the gig that catapults them into the mainstream? Do they have what it takes to steal the show? Will this mark the end of their illustrious career before it has a chance to begin? Take a train ride of sight and sound with The Magicians and stick around for the stunning conclusion. Featuring an all star cast featuring Spider-Man, a Stormtrooper, the dynamic duo of Jeff & Melinda and many more.

Although quite well made I have to admit I am getting a bit tired of seeing spoof documentaries. They just get real documentary a bad name and make it harder for people who make them.

Aaron, Stephen,

The title intrigued me. I'd just come back from 10 miles of hard and fast cycling and was out of breadth. The opening scene almost made me stop and move on to something else, but something kept me glued. I think the interview style and the enthusiasm the character portrayed (playing the part of a magician) was so heart felt that it felt real. And then I though holy cow, this is someone acting the part! That was the general feeling I had till the end. Every scene and character change, I was blown away with the acting and the effort that must have been put into this production.

I thought the story was great, the performances were excellent and the post production was excellent too. The multiple locations, multiple characters and the feel of a “real production” all made this piece very enjoyable to watch. More members should do this kind of thing.

Thank you so much for the kind words...
We really put a lot into this piece. We were lucky that so many people supported us and came out to the shoot to help make it the way we saw it in our heads. The stormtrooper and spider-man were last minute additions. Friends of friends that came out to see what we were up to. Everyone that was involved had a great time and helped expand our own ideas.

Hopefully, we'll be able to do something similar with the same kind of enthusiasm in the future!

Thanks again,
