"The Steam Man of the Prairies" (published 1868) by Edward S. Ellis was the first U.S. science fiction dime novel and the FIRST fictional story of a robot! My publishing company is currently reprinting this classic novel and, while playing around with artwork for the cover, I was inspired to start an animation based on this theme. This is the work in progress.

Here you have version 2 ... I've added a wagon and some other stuff... and made the sky and ground a bit more realistic.
