Yes, all three of you have demanded it so I have caved into the pressure! I think the “daily” might be a bit ambitious. Some of them will be just webcam bits to cam, some will be more interesting, I HOPE!

So anyway here is the first one. Vegas Bound. Enjoy!

Please do visit my main site for the serious stuff away from this madness!!

Philip,
Nice video. I like your quickly showing us what is what and blasting through your day. It'll be fun to see a day with more interesting things happening.

And, I have never see a business-class seat in an airplane. Are they all mini-cubicles like the one I saw you sleeping in? That's cool.

What about exchanging money. Do you "lose" when you convert to US Dollars? Do you do this in England, or do you wait to get to Vegas to exchange money?

I love cultures and how they differ/are the same, so please don't forget to point out some things that you find weird or different about being in America. Or things that are surprisingly similar.

Examples: Did you rent the Mustang to drive? How do you like some "American Muscle" compared to what you normally drive? (btw: I live here an have never driven a Mustang, so this may not be a good observation point.)

What about driving on the "correct" side of the road? Hard to handle? Do you, as a visitor, need an international Driver's License to drive here?

Do people hold their cigarettes differently? Order a certain soda or beverage? Is it weird buying Gallons of gas instead of Liters?

How does a U.S. interstate gas station differ from one you'd find on a highway in England? Bigger? Smaller? Cleaner, dirtier, more or less pumps, etc.

Do English gas stations sell low-quality hats, CDs, DVDs, sunglasses and every other piece of garbage that US stations carry?

What about the difference in architecture? (Buildings in UK=1000 years old vs. buildings in US=50 years old.)

How does your pasty British skin handle the harsh Nevada sunlight? :)

Happy Four Two Oh.
