A chance meeting in a very unlikely place has lead Shanneen & John to their wedding day. We had to also incorporate John's other love into the film - his Harley :) Thankfully, Shanneen loves nothing more than to ride along beside him (or behind him to be technically correct).

I was privileged to get to know two very caring and wonderful people in making this film and we are really looking forward to their wedding day today, Valentine's Day 2010.

Nice job.....very sharp and colorful images...also would like to know how you shot the motorcycle shots as if the cameraman was behind the wheel? If you were using green screen I couldn't tell.

Thanks Jackson,

The on-board shots were done with the HD Hero camera from www.goprocamera.com

A very handy, small camera that shoots full HD.

Dave.

Thanks a bunch, I'll make a note of that, that's a new one for me....what kind of camera did you use to shoot a majority of the shots? Did you shoot 24p or what?

Anyway, once again excellent work!

Shot with the Canon 7D in 25p. There's one or two shots from the EX1 (and of course the HD Hero).

Isn't it amazing what the 7d and 5d Mark II can produce!! I was hoping that was what you were using...I been wanting in the next month or two to get a 7d but now ALL the rage is this Canon 550D that is coming out at the end of the month, that is supposed to be the movie equivalent of the 7d at half the price. God knows what Scarlet's gonna look like! I'm starting to get to the point that unless it goes on a big movie screen which 99.99999% of all films won't see the light of the day, I'm not sure that anything past 720p is overkill for the web...and 1080p for HD TV.

A great piece of doco film-making Dave, you should be really proud of it :)
You have a knack for getting people to open up and look natural in front of the camera.
Well Done!
