Another nice piece of work. I particularly liked the ending, it made me smile.

Steven,
This piece is wonderful. A timeless theme told simply and eloquently, is one that any photographer can understand -- we use our new "eyes" to see what has been there all along.
You have edited your shots well to tell your story -- the drawing of a grey curtain, the dark spots metastasizing over beautiful vistas as does the clutter of our minds. Then the rediscovery of the shapes and colors of the world through the camera lens is well-conveyed by the quick succession of shots, sort of like we’re blinking and seeing its beauty for the first time. And I love how you finally represent this awakening by the release of the colorful balloons against a blue sky.

Peg, I love your comments...so considered and you totally "get" what I'm doing.
Much appreciated.

It takes me back to your last video/poem when you mention watching steam while others passed by not seeing what you see.
For some reason seeing it on video make sit much greater... larger than life. Sometimes I wish life was captured in these moments on its own, with a score added. Sometimes the best stories have no plot.
BUT. If you didn't use a camera to capture the beauty, if you didn't need it to capture it... then you could not share it with us blind people.
