I was hired for a video shoot by De Cristo Productions and we fit an extra trip to San Francisco into the busy schedule. Special thanks to Fred White for his effortless creativity and resources during this shoot and also for the use of his XHA1.

I put this piece together as a memory of a great place and a tribute to our collaborative efforts. Color work was done in post.

This was pretty well done! You seem to get the perfect composition for the shot and then the most fitting music for the video. It felt like I was watching part of a classic movie or something. Og and not to forget the words "little cable car" in the music synched with the shot. I would have prefer the shot to be more in cue with the words though :).

As crazy as it sounds, I deliberately offset the visual with the lyrics because I didn't want it to be so literal.

San Francisco -- This is a delicious scoop of a wonderful place, hills, boats, bridges, people and all. The editing is a superb compliment to the music, conveying a romanticism that lingers on the tastebuds. I really love the shots, great job.

Peg, your comments are very poetic. It's nice to make that kind of impact on someone.

Steven,
I know when you put stuff out there that it's the way you want it to be :). So I know that you didn't "miss" the timing but rather it was quite deliberate on your part. I was simply stating my opinion :)
This video is so different from the others, yet shows you can make something wonderful by just grabbing a camera!

Great work, nice footage and edit. It looks like the 20x zoom may have come in handy for a few of those shots.

LIkes, I Likes! I am attending graduate school at Academy of Art University, which just happens to be in San Francisco. What a beautiful expression of the town in your short film. The music was an obvious choice. Well done.
