It snowed pretty hard over the past week so I seized the opportunity to capture some of the magic. The usual XHA1/Letus Ultimate combo. Shutter was set to 1/150 for most of these shots. I find this to be a nice setting to capture the falling snow.

Some of the shots need to be color corrected (they are a little on the blue side) and I'll do that when I get time...

Edit: fixed the color inconsistency.

Very nice Steven. Great shots. I really liked how you could almost see the individual flakes. The shot of the young lady at 1:37, I thought was particularly good.

Great job as usual. My wife cannot imagine those kids not being freezing.

Nice to watch on Christmas Eve. The shutter works well to keep the feeling of the falling snow. The homemade Snurfer looked like fun.

Steven,

Another wonderful film. I don't think the colour looks bluish at all. I think that this cast adds to the seasonal feel. Thanks for the tip on shutter speeds for catching the snow falling. I will have to try it out on my XH A1. We are also getting lots of snow (I live in the Vancouver BC area). Too bad for me that I do not have the Letus setup! Have a wonderful Christmas, and a great New Year.
