This is just an experiment in look and feel.

Using footage from the same day as part one, I wanted to get a kind of vintage feel. I don't know, maybe it doesn't need all the artifacts but I do really like the color tones.

XHA1 and Letus Ultimate combo. I used Magic Bullet for the scratches, etc. but not the color grading...that was done with Premiere's cc tools.

Aside from the kindof, I want to call it a flicker, aside from the flicker, the colors and everything else remind me of the old Disney documentaries I used to watch as a little guy in the 80s. I don't know the exact timing as I was young, but I think they were shot in the 50s and showcase things like, "The Modern Home."

"Look at Jan, her new 'Dish Washer Unit' makes after dinner cleanup a breeze."

And then the same announcer does the voices of the people in the film as he's doing the voiceover.

"And little Timmy sure is a help around the house, cleaning up his plate like a good little boy. 'Here you go, Mother' - 'Thanks, Timmy. You're such a swell boy.'

Timmy is a swell boy...and this was a swell piece. Nice.

Thanks for the comments. Will, you crack me up :)

I thought the flicker was distracting so I removed it. I also worked on the color some more. Replacement file has been uploaded.

color

Another very nice short. My latest 14-week old kitten watched both with intense concentration.

I'm wondering what it would like with one of the RGB channels slightly stronger than the others. Film has a lowered amount of red. Ektachrome has a stronger blue.
