This was meant to be just a test to see how my EX1/SGBLADE and nikon lense set worked in low light before embarking on my first feature.
i showed a few people and they liked it so i thought i'd share it.
it was shot in 5 hours just outside Glasgow, the lead guy is tomas who's polish and doesn't speak english we found him in a local supermarket lovely bloke
a few friends helped me it was freezing big thanks to number 29 the hedgehog

Dom,

This is simply fantastic! I mean it's so simple in the way it seems to be done, but you are a true master at story telling. Heck you call this a "test"? I couldn't do this kind of thing even if I tried.

Choose a Niel Diamond was perfect for this piece as well.

Nice one Dom, can't wait to see what you'll do with your first feature if this is only a test!

Good work Dom, great atmosphere set up in the control room and I like the characters look, nice gentle use of FX, the color, look and sound of the film work very well.

Whoa

Cool stuff man, great shot selection too. How in the world did you do those visual effects? I need to learn some of that stuff.

Just fantastic

Great atmosphere, great story, minimalist perfection. Loved it. You are truly in tune with emotion and situation, and that applies to all of the shorts you have posted here.
