Craig Norton
Producer/Director/Camera/Editor

Bio

With a degree in Corporate and Broadcast Communications, ten years experience freelancing and eleven years at ESPN, where do you go from there? Much of my own work consists of documentaries for arts organizations, museums and recently I've been shooting a series of performing artist promos and Tai Chi videos. Aha! is my first entirely self produced documentary featuring an entire cast and crew of individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities. I am now experimenting with an HD helmet camera with extreme sports. Life is too short to sit around watching the action on TV, I prefer creating it.

My most gratifying moments have be working with young filmmakers at Center For Creative Youth at Wesleyan University. I teach all aspects of the process including script writing, story boarding, preproduction planning, camera work, film theory and composition, lighting, sound, music and sound effects production and of course editing. Most of the time I work as Producer, facilitating the creation of their movies and every summer they blow us all away with their short films.
