This "Casual Classics" video is a sampling from three musical performances held by the Ithaca New York area group, "Music's Recreation". This group puts on family-friendly events (meaning kids are welcome, even very young ones..;-) to foster enjoyment and understanding of fine music of many sorts (vocal, brass, chamber, etc.) and compositional ages (baroque, romantic, modern, avant-garde, etc.). The concerts feature top quality performers and lecturers, often with enjoyable visual aids, and they have been quite informative and popular. (Note: The video compression necessary to make internet streaming practical may cause the image to appear to move with some "jogging" during pans that is not in the original.)
