This picture was taken is a small park in nothern Scotland in Summer 2007. I have been experimenting with IR since ever, even in the days when using my good old Nikon F2. Even trivial sceneries turn into a magic effect in almost any case. But I try to be cautious, not to overdo with effects. Digital Cams make it a whole lot easier today. When I passed this szenery, I thought: "This is it". But this came with a big obstacle: I had to shoot from a instable plank bridge with a long exposure. I made some tries with my tripod, but I failed. A lot of visitors were constantly passing the szenery that day, curiously watching my activities and causing heavy swinging, instead of passing by quickly. So I had to wait patiently for the right moments, where the swinging calmed down. Finally I made it and I am happy with the result, which appears to be shot in the magic forest mentioned in the ancient tales.

Magnificant "Take" on Waterfall
This photo has a surreal aspect to it because of the infrared filter. It is absolutely gorgeous. One feels a bit like Alice in Wonderland treading in a land strange and wonderful.
