I filmed this short documentary in 2001 with my Sony PD-150 on the Albanian mountains not far away from the Kosovarian border.

This is well done and really conveys the message. Sitting here in middle class comfort, I find the images very powerful as many of the people seem ... hungry. The children in the video have both a haunted and yet impish look. Thank goodness that children can possess an optimism in spite of the difficult lives they find themselves in.

I think this well-directed and well-edited video must be most effective in getting the project off the ground and in getting people's attention. Perhaps Filippo can share with us the after-effects of this documentary.

Excellent work!

Hi Peg,
many thanks for your comments.
This video has helped a voluntary service association to take helps to the Albanian population, but it has never been shows on television channels in Italy. In my country the Albania "problem" has been forgotten many years ago after World Trade Center tragedy...
Sorry for my terrible english!
