The Artist
This is my non-submission version for the second chapter of The Story Beyond the Still, a contest being held by Canon and Vimeo.
In this short, the still from the end of Chapter 1, The Cabbie, turns out to be a drawing done by an artist in a rehabilitation clinic. While in rehab, David (David Suto) has focused all of his energy into drawing. During his stay at the clinic, he has taken a liking to Marie (Kristin Frisby), who has taken interest in him as well. While David is drawing an image of Marie in the privacy of his room, she happens to stop by to ask him an important and revealing question.

Bio
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Dallas, I have been a film junkie from a young age. While I was heavy into to 2D computer animation in high school (as well as 3D animation in college), it was not until I received a roll in an independent film that I realized my love for film-making.
