NOT THE FINAL VERSION. This is the Performance version of the video. I am currently working on a "wrap around" story to go with the video. The color in the video is still a work in progress. I was given the opportunity to film my first official music video with Bipolar Echo. They are fresh out of the studio and needed a video for their first single. Being my last week in the Oklahoma Panhandle, I figured I had better take advantage of wheat harvest before it was too late. Bipolar Echo rocks. Period. More info soon. Bipolar Echo is: Brad Duren: Drums, Vocals Amber Hollis-Fesmire: Lead Vocals, Keyboards Ramiro "Tiny" Rosalez Jr. : Bass Guitar, Vocals Kevin Wale: Lead Guitar, Vocals Jacob Whiteley: Rhythm Guitar, Vocals Special Thanks to Brian Mitchell! Equipment Camera: Canon 7D Lenses: Canon 10.0-22.0 mm • Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS • Canon 50mm f/1.4 Equipment: Manfrotto 561BHDV Video Monopod with Fluid Head • Zacuto Z-Finder • ProAm Crane Software: Adobe Premiere CS5 • Adobe After Effects

Charles, That's a great job indeed! Nicely edited too. Loved the close-up of the guitar shots and was hoping for some of the drums as well. I can imagine that music videos are a lot of work for the group as well as for you since there are multiple takes so you can edit. Since you seemed to have had a crane or something on site I would have loved to see more crane/tracking shots. The last but one shot with the crane was beautiful. I was also hoping to see some wide shots of the group like the thumbnail. The light you have was wonderful and the breeze blowing on crop looked really neat. Personally, I would have preferred to see, say the singer in a different setting. Singing but not with a mic or anything but just her walking down a street or park or looking at a guy (at a distance) kind of singing to him. I was kind of getting bored looking at a close-up of her from the same angle for a big portion of the clip (I thought). But really I think you've done a great done a great job. So well done and keep it up.

Hey Shiv, Added WAY more crane. I was pretty spent last night when I got the first edit finished and kept everything linear. Today with a new lease on things, I had the time to "fudge" shots and move stuff around. I also, for some reason, skipped over my first shoot of crane footage. So it's got a LOT more crane. I was also able to balance the screen time for each band member and get some cool fast cuts. I still have color, which will be wacky because I filmed at Magic Hour and every shot was a different color/brightness. As for more variety, I am working on the "wrap around" story to go with the video, but since I am currently in the process of moving, I had to get this done ASAP. I most likely will film it in the next month or so when I am in Florida and can wrangle some talent. It was a great time shooting, and it will be great once it's finished. Thanks for your support! frisby

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Dallas, I have been a film junkie from a young age. While I was heavy into to 2D computer animation in high school (as well as 3D animation in college), it was not until I received a roll in an independent film that I realized my love for film-making.
