Good footage

What kind of camera was mounted ont he bike... and how?

The footage look very solid... unlike camcorder with rolling shutter problems. I'd have added a small amount of contrast to the video....

I use a simple Pentax Optio W60 weatherproof dc, mounted on the bar with RAM mount.
It can do movieclips in 1280x720 but only in 15fps and the battery time sucks, so you need a lot of them. Its very light weighted which is good since it bounces around a lot, Ive had it about a year and it seems to hold up very well.

Thanks for the info.
The quality of the footage was very good for a camera like that.
It's too bad in HD only 15fps, otherwise it would be perfect.

Yes, I'm thinking of getting the newer Panasonic DMC-TS1 which is a waterpoof with 1280x720 30 fps and has a better battery, even though 25 fps would be better for us in PAL country's, well see...

Magnus,

I'm surprised at the fact that the footage doesn't jerk as much as I know the handle bars of the motorcycle obviously is on those roads. I'm a rider myself (I'm into sport bikes Honda CBR 1100XX.

We haven't introduced the rules yet, but I would ask that you keep your content to about 3-5 minutes. The reason is that people don't watch long videos online and besides, you should edit the footage (I know you have edited it) and get more creative in telling a story or documenting your trips and such. I'm sure you would inspire others in your group to do the same and they would enjoy these videos more.

My two cents.
