About the Studio

Michael Allen is the driving force for the visionary team at FilmIndesign.com and Michaelallenphotography.com.  Our clients call us from around the globe, from such places at Phuket Thailand, Buenos Aires Argentina, Cozemel Mexico and Nassau Bahamas, just to name a few of our destinations.  And, of course, across the US from New York, New Orleans, Seattle, San Francisco, Miami, Hawaii to Memphis. Our production company produces shorts for our sister publication, Style & Destination Magazine.

Our creative team is comprised or two award winning photographers, Michael Allen and Tracy Welch, and our wonderful support team in our studio.  With over 15 years experience in high end weddings, couture fashion, architectural and fine art portraiture, we’ve acquired an impressive portfolio that represents some of the best photography in the world.  One of our many successes in business is our dedication to our clients, with a goal for excellence in customer service.  With excellence at heart, and a passion for incredible photography, we love what we do, and strive for perfection with every client we serve.

We offer an edge that few photographers can. With our unparalleled approach to panoramic scenes in our shoots that are breath taking, to the myriad of fine details we capture, to the special moments that we seek to document, all conveying the story of a lifetime.  A combination of photojournalism and high fashion photography may be the best way to describe what we do, all in an unobtrusive approach, offering our photo vision to each project that we take on.  Our equipment line up is comprised of the best in cameras by Canon. With the recent addition of the new Canon 5d Mark II DSLR HD cameras, and our arsenol of some of the finest lenses in the world, we have gone beyond standard definition into high definition for our imagery and film work.  With the dawn of HD Photography &  Cinema films, which we like to call Photo Fusion, we now offer cinematic films unlike any wedding videos you may have seen in the past, offering beautiful cinematic color, contrast, and clarity tied to our artistic creations in short films.
