Using the Preset and Template I created for Lightroom News, I've exported another sequence. This time it's the old reliable, the green out back. Shot at 1 frame every 5 secs in Aperture Priority. Exported as a 720 24fps mp4.

Music is something basic knocked out in Reason quickly, just to have audio!

Sean,

That's nice! Why did you use the AE mode? And what is the difference or advantage of using Adobe Lightroom over Adobe AfterEffects if you know?

I just made my first time lapse Sunset MalagueƱa where I used the Canon 40D as well (for the time lapse part. I shot the time lapse at 1 frame every 10 seconds.

I took all the still and imported them into AfterEffects in one click and exported it as a movie an another click. I got a very large (dimensions) movie that I could then pan in the 1920x1080 time line.

Also what intervalometer did you use?

Hey Shiv,
Easy answer.. Because I have Lightroom and it's much cheaper than AE! I assume you mean Av mode? Just because it takes longer to get dark really. No advantage really, but sometimes it works. Manual is usually best.

I usually shoot with the 5DII, but the 40D was there hanging around so I may as well use it. Same intervalometer as you.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for the info. Yes, I meant AV mode.

Funny you say your 40D was lying around 'cause that time lapse I did with the 40D was the same reason I used the 40D!
