The P-40 Warhawk is done in AVG Chinese markings of the Flying Tiger Group. The plane is finished with printer paper glued to foam. It uses laminated 3 layers pink foam of 5/16 inch. The laminations are only in the nose to mid wing. I sanded it to a smooth taper to the cockpit area and arched toward the edges. I made it at 44 inch wingspan. I have a 1/4 inch full length fibre glass rod in the fuselage into the glass filled quik change mount right to the rudder. The wing has a full length fibre glass spar also. They were freebies. The plane weighs 24 ounces less the battery. I am using a 1750Mah 11.1v 20c Rhino. She has about 45 oz. thrust. See more here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=724566&page=79 The plans are FREE. I have 77 videos to date here. http://community.webshots.com/user/__neons__?vhost=community
