So I see this footage once again. A different look but the same great footage. I prefer the look of this one compared to the earlier (Trench) too.

Everything about this film is just so professional Phil. Your cinematography work is superb, the sound, voice over...well just everything.

Good job!

I preferred my grade really, a bit too Sepia this one. But Craig did a bloody good job. The sound is awesome and I know just how crap it was. He has done wonders and the thing is lovely and slick.

He is now freelance so give him work!

I feel the sepia sets the era of this film and so make it more true to the story that's being told.

ok, I'm totally confused. Who are you?

Some Like it Shot Productions Ltd.    June 15, 2008 09:44 PM
But in 1914 it wasn't actually Sepia.

It is me Shiv, that is my production company

You never told me you had a twin. So which one of you was in Vegas?

lol

Philip,

I find this piece has some superb camera moves. I like the colors here and the grain. The other version seemed to have more contrast (if i remember well).

As ever, your work is fantastic.

EX3?
Hello PB,

As I do more research on the EX3, I came across your work on Youtube.com. In a few of the shorts, I noticed that the EX3 work had minimal movement. However, I did find one film with the movement; not this one. I'm wondering what you shot this particular film with. Is it the EX3? If not, what was it? It definitely has a great look with an excellent depth of field and color. My concerns are with the potential problems of the CMOS. I imagine that I won't do a lot of action right away but I want the option. I'm pretty sure that I can surpass the lighting smear problems.
