Just a few shots knocked off one Sunday when I had the camera to play around with. Just to show you don't always need a 35mm to get nice looking shots. Even with a 1/3" chip.

As you can tell, I like filming water!

Download the full HD 1080p version to see it at it's best.

How did you get to be so fu**king good

Damn Buddy, how can you shoot some rocks and water and make it Oscar worthy.
Jens and I have to get out there and make something soon to take you on. It doesn't help that England is so damn beautiful!
nicely done. Weiss

Nice Job!

great to see good DoF with a stock lens, great work as always.

Oh dear, my pocket is starting to feel rather hot ... hmmmm!
Impressive DOF with stock lens, and overall results (though a foggy day) are very good. I downloaded this and watched via my 42" 1080p plasma, and I must admit the images were very detailed with lovely texture visable on close-ups, colour seems natrual, and a real feeling of depth.
Oddly these shots are only 18 miles away from Pegwell Bay (near my home town the other side of Broadstairs) Deal and St Margrets (where you filmed this I think) isn't the most romantic of beaches along the Kent coast, though you've made it look rather attractive with your magical style and creative eye.

Many thanks Philip for more visual insight with the Panasonic 301e.

One of the members here emailed me asking how do I watch HD downloaded content off the Net on my HD Plasma TV, so to help those wondering, I've copied my reply here ... hope you don't mind Philip (if so I'll delete it)

Its easy ... I'm guessing you're talking about the recent Philip Bloom video of Kent.

Philip has made this film a download ... if you look just below the film on the left you'll see info regarding the format etc (its within a box) at the end you'll see `Download Original` ... just right click this link and a `save` box pops up.

Playing back the file is the hard bit unless you have one of three things - a media HD TV hard drive linked to an HD TV via HDMI, or a PC with HDMI output or a PS3 with SD/SDHC card reader and HDMI linked to your HD TV. I use the latter for perfect results. I just move the file to an SDHC card, but it works just as well by linking the HDMI output from my graphics card direct to my Plasma TV and playing the file - the Plasma TV becomes your PC monitor.

Hope that helps.
