SF rules

When was you in SF? I was there from 15 to 20 October. Love this city ! great picture, maybe not as good as when you use your EX1 :)
Hope you had a beer at O'Folley, best guinnes (and bloody mary, as they claim) in town !

So in one trip to SF you found Ronald Regan's twin brother, an angry bum (which you had better of given him a dollar) and the 6th member of the temptations, all whilst being a camera pest?

Great work as usual. Love the open!

Genius

Hi Phil,

I must say that you are a genius at telling unique stories my friend. This would have to be one of the most moving, inspirational piece of filmmaking genius I've seen in a long time. Telling a story with light and character using modern surroundings gives this film a unique insight into SF. Although I loved every single image, I was really moved by your capture of perfect moments. Eg When you focused on the SF*PD sign and then a reflection of police lights flashing off it was pure genius. Also the car headlights as the person is walking up the hill. Loved that too. Well done mate. Great work. ps - If you strung all of your works into a single film I would pay to go sit in a cinema and absorb it's beauty. A modern day artist with a camera.

Real People

I love this video. The faces you've caught are incredible, and the way you've sliced them into the faces of the city lends an organic feel to the place, as if we're walking along side you and can touch and see what you can. Your ability to capture the authenticity and capriciousness of people is really special, Phil. Great editing also.
