Shooting a lot with the EOS Mark d5

Ive notice you have been shooting alot with this new tool in your tool box. The footage is very good, but how do you really like shooting with it?

It's a pleasure. The images are great. it's light and it's amazing in low light. Not a video camera replacement though! I use what the client wants. My camera 90% per cent of the time is still my Sony DVCAM DSR 450!

I went to your site and read everything!!!

I went to your web site and read your production setup and use of this camera, good stuff. Perfect for F-Stop. I will keep viewing.

Nice work Phil.

Is this commerical going to be aired on Bulgarian TV?

Yea, like William, I've noticed you've been using the Canon 5D Mark II quite a bit too.

I'll tell you what. The camera may be great and I have one too. And I can tell you it's NOT the camera that makes great pictures!

Keep 'em coming Phil.

It's like they are posing for still pictures, seeing it's a still photo camera. :)
Shiv Kumar    July 08, 2009 03:57 PM

That's the "Phil effect". For some reason, not only do people let him take photos/videos of them but they also pose for the occasion.

When I try it I get questions like, "Where are you going to post it"?, "What are you going to do with it"? and the like.
Péter Dancsó    July 08, 2009 04:28 PM

Maybe Phil looks innocent enough to make them forget any negative beliefs.
Shiv Kumar    July 08, 2009 08:15 PM

Innocent? No way, I wouldn't say Phil looks innocent at all! On the contrary actually.

But the guy can turn on the Charm when needed.
Péter Dancsó    July 08, 2009 08:35 PM

I think I forgot the smiley from the end of my previous comment. :)

It's the Sesame Street shirts he wears. Who doesn't like a guy who wears a shirt with Ernie on it? (I love that shirt and I want one by the way)
