No grading. These are raw images out of the camera, with just PP tweaks. Shot in Richmond over an hour or so and edited on FCP to The Who's "Magic Bus".

I don't know why, but the first 15 seconds the only thing i thought was:
Philip "Tarantino" Bloom,

Anyway, interesting clip. Not only because it's the only 'sexy' and affordable adapter. Thanx for sharing the clips and thoughts on this nice piece of equipment.

A Slice Of Life.

You tell Wayne i'm sold. This is my taste of footage.

I noticed very minor chromatic aberration. Would you know that's your lens, or is it the SGBlade?

Edge-to-edge sharpness seems very good. Did you have to zoom in much to the GG?

The footage itself to me is what you do like no other imo, Philip. Portraiting people in a very exciting way.

Thanks for testing and sharing.

How do you do it

Man, how do you go out for an hour or two and come back with a whole video.
I have to sweat and toil to make one. lovely. Weiss

about the music

Hi Philip, great work generally. Something a bit out from the images and cameras: do you ask permission for using the Who music, you just don't bother, or is it not necessary. Just I'll like to know how it works if I have to upload a video using some not-copyright-music myself. Thanks

Hi Bruno. I did see Pete Townsend the other day in Tesco and he said fine :)

Seriously though, for any commercial use you need the music to be licensed. When I work for some broadcast clients I am lucky enough for them to have blanket deals. Other's no deal.

This is a non commercial piece so I am more or less fine. All my films have been tagged by the publishers on youtube and been ok'd for their use.

Cheers Steve!

CA is most likely the lenses, zooms wide open. I zoomed into about z70 which was great for the ex1. I zoom in the same for the Letus Ultimate.

Great looking video Philip.
Although the images don't necessarily look better than the Letus Extreme, I actually think they look softer than the Extreme, I'm having a lot of trouble with the Extreme's alignment and edge to edge sharpness. Also if I step any farther down than T4 I can see the grain. Sometimes it's nice to shoot at T5.6 in a difficult dolly move to spare the 1AC and make it easier to get the shot, but if the background has a lot of uniformity, you can see the grain. I use it with a EX1 and I have the EX1 kit so I don't know why I have edge softness.
Since the Blade seems to have y-x adjustment and you can use higher step down more than just T4 I'm thinking about getting one and ditching the annoying Letus Extreme.
