Jeff Kincaid Motorsports had a rough weekend in Chula Vista. Saturday, Jeff got caught up in mid-air hitting Chad Hord who had spun out, giving Jeff a flat tire. After going to the pits and changing the tire, Jeff got back out on the lead lap and CORR officials told him to go to the position he was in during the crash. The CORR officials made a mistake and thought the best way to correct it was to give Jeff a black flag for not going to the back of the pack after he changed his tire. Jeff ended up finishing 9th on Saturday. Sunday was more trouble as a mechanical failure put Jeff out of the race early, causing him to finish 25th. Luckily, Robert Naughton also had a mechanical failure and Rodrigo Ampudia was a lap down because Jeff is still leading the CORR Pro-Lite points race by 11 over Naughton.
