This tutorial is kind of like a part 2 of the WordPress Plug-in Tutorial. So you may want to watch that video before watching this one.

Keep in mind that mucking about with Javascript is not for the faint of heart. However, we've tried to make it simple for anyone looking to be able to start using these JS tags to make their (non-WordPress) website's iPhone compatible.

Get the Sample html file that contains the script embed tag used in this tutorial from here: http://exposureroom.com/uploadedfiles/help/scriptembedsample.txt If you're having trouble downloading a text file, you can try downloading a zip file http://exposureroom.com/uploadedfiles/help/scriptembedsample.zip This is really an html file but I've changed the file extension to .txt so you can download it. Make sure you change the file extension to .htm on your machine, and set up an assetId

Great tutorial! That's a very user friendly Java Script layout (as user friendly as Java script code can be).

Bookmarking and redoing all of my embeds this weekend. Can't wait for the GUI.

sample HTM file is not visible

Not sure why I dont see the HTML file sample... it show in error.
Using XP-SP3

Embedded with the thumbnail

Hi Shiv!
This is great. What I would like to know whether its possible to have this used with the thumbnails.
In my case I uses the lightbox effect on my site together with the thumbnails pictures.

So you dont have to many videos buffering on the same page but just the thumbnail. Here it would be nice if the scrips could work.
But I am not a hardcore code-person... so I dont know if it is possible?

@Theo,

Use Firfox or Chrome instead of IE. IE Seems to attempt to display the page even though the file is a text file. Or right click on the link and choose "Save As" and then take a look at the contents once, you've saved the file on your machine.

Henrik, I'm afraid, I don't understand and looking at your site doesn't help either because there is so much stuff there I don't know what to look at.

But the script tags won't work with anything available out there because they expect object tags.

Create and Album in your account on XR and see how the albums display.

Variable Video Size

Dammit, it appears we can't adjust the video size to be variable (like you can when embedding normally). Med is too big in our situation, and small is too small. This is such an important feature- a 'must have'. How soon can you make this available? Great work on the rest of the ExposureRoom site! -A.J.
